Construction Craft Laborers are members of the Laborers International Union of North America. They are skilled construction workers who work in one or more of four specific categories: Commercial construction, highway construction, underground construction and environmental remediation.

Apprenticeship Requirements

Length of Program:
The Michigan Laborers Training & Apprenticeship Institute offers an apprenticeship program requiring 4,000 hours of diversified work and training with no less than 300 hours of related instructional classes.

Requirements:
Must be a minimum of 18 years old May be required to pass a drug test Must be physically able to perform the work of the trade Need to have a good attitude and be willing to learn Need to understand the importance of punctuality and good attendance Must have reliable transportation
